Doug Retherford
News Director

Doug was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  He attended
Donnelly College.  His broadcasting career began in the mid-70's,
with an on-air news internship at WHB radio.  There he learned the
basics of street reporting, writing and on-air delivery.  Doug's next
move was to television in Joplin, Missouri.  A three-year stint at
the station took his from street reporter, to Noon anchor, to
Executive Producer.

After a short time in Wichita, Kansas, producing for a regional cable
outlet, Doug took his first News Director position at KSNT-TV in
Topeka, Ks., in 1982.  Six years in Topeka were followed by a short
time in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and then a fifteen-year run at KWQC-TV,
in Davenport. Iowa.  Doug made the move to Independent News Network
in December of 2005.

 
 Jeff Lyle
President

Jeff has been in broadcasting for 20 years.  After graduating from Cedarville University, Ohio, with a degree in Broadcast production and Music, he worked for CBS Television for six years.  Following that, he bought radio station KQCS-FM in Davenport, Iowa, and four years later purchased another station, KZZQ in Des Moines, Iowa.  Jeff has been instrumental in developing the technology to deliver broadcast quality audio and video to affiliate stations over the internet and other low cost media.  Jeff started Video Production company EBI Video & Film in 1992, advertising agency Victory Media in 1995, and Animation studio TreeTop Studios in 1999.  Later he and other partners formed a new venture production company for producing local news called Independent News Network in late 1999.
